Industry Collaboration

Alliance University is the first private university to be established in Karnataka (2010) through an Act of the State Legislature.

It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), currently offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in business, engineering and technology, and law. A school of digital technology, a school of liberal arts, and a school of mathematics are underway.

Within a decade, the university has made good strides. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) has placed the business programs at No. 39 and the engineering and technology program at No.159 in 2020 (the list includes IIMs, IITs, and NITs).

As part of our efforts to integrate experiential learning across the university, we are reaching out to practitioners and professionals to help us bridge the “learning-doing” gap in education

We would highly appreciate your help in the effort.

The range of possibilities is wide – from mentoring to guest lectures to co-delivery of courses to collaborative research to case study development to workshops and conferences, and more.

“Collaboration between universities and industries is critical for skills development (education and training), the generation, acquisition, and adoption of knowledge (innovation and technology transfer), and the promotion of entrepreneurship (start-ups and spin-offs).” (Source: Guimon, Jose: Promoting University-Industry Collaboration in Developing Countries; Policy Brief; The World Bank Group; extracted from:
